Funding Priorities
The Goldsmith Family Foundation is committed to supporting students in
the Baltimore City Public School System. We do so by funding
innovative and effective programming within individual schools and by
offering public school students access, through their schools, to the
cultural and scientific institutions of Baltimore.
Grant proposals are considered for the following:

2) Applicants may not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, physical handicap, or sex.

Grants to an organization are made only once in a calendar year.
The Foundation does not provide funds for the following:

solely by invitation of the Board of Trustees. In our grants list, these gifts are noted with an asterisk.

Application Procedures
The Foundation's Board of Trustees meets four times per year.
Typically these meetings take place the third week of the months of
January, April, July, and October. Proposals are due by the end of
the first week of those months, though earlier submission is greatly
appreciated.
Before applying, please consider whether your organization meets the
funding priorities set by the Goldsmith Family Foundation. If you
have some questions regarding your proposal or the 'match' between your
organization and ours, our Vice President, Wendy Samet,
will be more than happy to work with you, or you may send a letter
of inquiry before submitting a complete proposal.
The Goldsmith Family Foundation asks that applicants please use the Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers Common Grant Application Format.
Please note that funding proposals cannot be submitted through this website.
